March Blossom Wine Drop!

Cherry blossom season is upon us and we are ready! This month we have some extra special wines in the box - the benefit of being a member of our wine club is getting incredible wines at a great value. Local bubbly and white accompanied by Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian reds are feeling SPRINGy. Okay, we may be a little Mencia crazy lately, but dang they are singing these days! We hope you agree. See you soon 🌸
FEATURED WINES INCLUDE:
SILICE TINTO 🌱(What better bottle of wine to drink than one made by best friends who make wine together?! This wonderful expression of the Sil river valley of the Ribera Sacra is a blend of 80% Mencía with 20% Garnacha Tintorera, Merenzao, and other white greapes. It's aromatic and juicy with hints of balsamic, wild berry, herbaciousness and sweet tarts. (P.S. drink in one night with friends - gets slight hint of funk on day 2)
VIÑYADEMOYA MENCIA 🌱 (Grandchildren carrying on their grandparent's legacy of the vines they planted. 88% Mencia with 2% white grapes this old-vine Mencia is fresh, floral, gently spiced and so balanced.)
JOHAN PINOT NOIR PET NAT 🌱 (Sitting in Van Duzer Corridor AVA, this 175-acre biodynamic farm's goal is to produce "a self-sustained holistic farm system with the energy to produce an honest expression of itself". They aim for ripe fruit and higher acidity in this Pet Nat to present a fresh and juicy expression of Pinot Noir.)
JOHAN MELON D'BOURGOGNE 🌱 (One of Johan's go-to's, this Melon d'Bourgogne has texture and expression mirroring it's original home, the Muscadet region of the Loire Valley. This salty, green apple, complex white will keep your palate on its toes between sips.)
VALLI UNITE ROSSO 🌱 (Barbera, Dolcetto, Croatina and Cortese blend from a natural wine cooperative in SE Piedmont that makes so much more than wine. They call this wine a "true farmer's wine" - suuper drinkable, bright, lip-smacking acidity, fresh fruit, and low tannin will keep you coming back for more.)
JAVALI CLOS FONTE DO SANTO 🌱 (More foot trod and biodynamically grown grapes here, but this time 33 different varietals! This single vineyard red is from vines approximately 90 years old. Aromatically fruity, dense, and wild, it drinks maturely yet elegant with balanced structure.)
